  15. When creating a new user account profile in User Manager, you may
  16. receive the following error message:
  17.  
  18.    The home directory <Directory Path> for <User Name> could not be
  19.    created. The user account has been updated. You must create the
  20.    Home Directory manually.
  21.  
  22. (The text between the <> brackets reflects the user information just
  23. entered.)
  24.  
  25. This message may be caused by entering a directory name that goes
  26. outside of the 8.3 naming convention (8 characters for the name, a
  27. period, 3 characters for the extension) of a FAT partition.
